Program Name: Stories of You Call Reminders

What is this program?

Stories of You sends automated text message reminders before your scheduled storytelling phone calls. These reminders help you prepare by letting you know when your call is coming and what story prompt you'll be discussing.

What messages will I receive?

• A reminder approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled storytelling call, including the date/time and your story prompt
• Confirmation messages if you opt out (STOP) or opt back in (START)
• Responses to HELP requests

Message Frequency

Up to 3 messages per week, depending on your call schedule. Message frequency varies based on how many calls you have scheduled.

How do I opt in?

You opt in to SMS reminders by checking the optional SMS consent checkbox when setting up your call schedule in your Stories of You account. The opt-in form includes two separate checkboxes:

• SMS consent (optional) — "By checking, you are allowing to receive transactional/informational SMS communications regarding call reminders, scheduling notifications, and customer care from Stories of You." This checkbox is not required to save your schedule; you can use phone recording without enabling text message reminders.
• Terms of Service & Privacy Policy acceptance (required) — "By checking, I accept Terms of Service & Privacy Policy." This must be accepted to proceed.

For managed accounts (where a family member sets up calls on your behalf), the account manager confirms they have your consent before enabling SMS reminders.

How do I opt out?

Reply STOP to any message from Stories of You to immediately stop receiving text messages. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. Your scheduled calls will also be cancelled.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Stories of You does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

Carriers

Major US carriers are supported including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Service may not be available on all carriers.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your phone number is used solely for delivering call reminders and will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
